Landscape supervisor needed for busy landscape Installation and Design company in the heart of Downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Most homes we service are High end Residential properties in the Rio Vista, Harbor Beach, Lauderdale By the Sea, and Las Olas Area.
***THIS IS A HANDS ON POSITION***
Duties of the Supervisor
Oversee and work alongside crew in Installing plant material to client and company’s satisfaction and standards.
Maintain key client properties to monitor performance and overall job quality.
Ensuring all work by self and crew is completed safely and efficiently.
Maintain and be responsible for the crews trailer, truck, and assigned equipment.
Create relationships with contractors, and clients.
Being a team player.
Be a face of the company.
Qualifications of Supervisor
5+ Years Experience in lawn or gardening care
Knowledge of Fertilization techniques, plant materials, bobcat, excavator, etc.
Ability to manage time well, meet imposed deadlines and ability to work flexible hours
Ability to operate heavy machinery/equipment
Ability to organize/run a 5+ man crew
Need to speak English (some Spanish required)
Problem solving mentality
Position is physically active requiring lifting, bending, climbing, and the ability to tolerate various weather conditions
Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
Ability to read and communicate blueprints/ landscape plans
Valid drivers’ license for use of company vehicles may be required (CDL Class A Preferred)
